Mindful Montessori is a diverse and collaborative community of educators, parents, and children committed to nurturing each child’s academic and personal growth using the Montessori Method. Serving children from 4 months to 6 years, the school fosters a peaceful, purposeful learning environment that encourages lifelong learning, responsibility, and respect. Guided by core values such as education, community, integrity, compassion, excellence, and mindfulness, Mindful Montessori empowers students to become independent, caring individuals. The school promotes high standards for both students and staff, values diversity, and continuously seeks ways to improve while supporting the holistic development of every member of its community.
Our mission is to create a happy, loving, and respectful community that wholeheartedly embraces the philosophy and methods of Dr. Maria Montessori. We strive to inspire and encourage children to live mindfully, fostering independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love for learning. Through a thoughtfully prepared environment and nurturing guidance, we aim to cultivate responsible, creative, and compassionate individuals who contribute positively to their communities and the world. We are committed to supporting each child’s unique developmental journey — emotionally, intellectually, socially, and ethically — in a space that values peace, purpose, and respect for all life.
Our school's foundation is built upon the revolutionary philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, a trailblazing physician and educator. Her insights into child development transformed education, emphasizing the child's natural desire to learn. We honor her legacy by creating an environment where children can thrive, explore, and become independent thinkers.
Maria Montessori, Italy’s first female physician, revolutionized education through her observations of how children learn naturally from their environment. In 1906, she founded the first Casa dei Bambini in Rome, where she developed the Montessori method—an approach emphasizing hands-on learning, independence, and adult guidance without interference. Her belief that children teach themselves became the foundation of her work.
Though she passed away in 1952, Montessori’s legacy continues worldwide. Today, thousands of schools across the globe follow her method, fostering independence and curiosity while respecting each child’s natural learning process.

We at Mindful Montessori ELC gently and carefully open the door of the child's life by:
By doing these things, the child's personality is allowed to naturally develop and s/he can be whom nature intended and not a mask of their true self.
